Whether you're new to the idea of VIPKID or have been considering it for a while, you've come to the right place! Howdy! My name is Kristina Garcia, but my students call me "Teacher Tina." You may know me from YouTube, as I release VIPKID-related videos on my YouTube channel for aspiring--and current--VIPKID teachers!
I love VIPKID so much that I spend a few hours of my day teaching and devote the rest of my day to coaching rockstar candidates (like you?!). I have a very active Facebook group, Teacher Tina's VIPKID Referrals. It's a place of inspiration and idea-sharing! Along with over 500 other teachers whom I've helped get hired, I use the group to actively reply to questions and share tips and tricks for aspiring and current teachers. You will be amazed by how much help is at your fingertips! It will be an honor to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to be a successful VIPKID teacher!

Considerations before applying for VIPKID:
- Most teachers receive their contract between 1.5 and 2 weeks of their application date
- In the event that you need more time after you've already started the process, I suggest sending the hiring team an email (Teachvip@vipkid.com.cn) to let them know what your plan is for completing the steps in a timely manner.
- There are several steps to the hiring process, so I suggest applying at a time when you know you'll have a few hours across a few different days to commit to preparing your classroom and lessons

-Not yet applied to VIPKID: Apply through my referral link.
-Already applied but didn't use my (Tina's) link: Log into your VIPKID account, click "My Account" in the top right and copy+paste this referral code: KRIST0230. Now it should say, “Your referee: Kristina SW.”

- Use the email address you plan to keep using once you're hired
- Check the spelling of your name and email address for accuracy
- Include all experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, and volunteering (especially with children).
- Your application will be automatically accepted or rejected based on meeting the basic requirements
