Review: LingoKids hires native teachers only. The pay-rate is $10-20 an hour depending on if you are teaching trials or regular classes. One thing that they note is: Teachers comfortable with very young kids (singing, dancing and being extremely expressive and creative are all required!). Do note that many of the teachers in our group have complained about not getting enough hours with them.
Review: Pudtree school teaches kids as a primary type of student. They are looking for native teachers only from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. The pay is $17-22 per hour for those with a degree and at least one-year teaching experience.
Review: Tutoring 360 is similar to Cambly, but is focused on students from Korea. By the way, they have changed their website a few times. The current one is Tutoringgo.com. Just in case you are a little confused! You either need to have a degree or be currently enrolled towards your degree. There is no requirement for having a TEFL or other certification but you need to have previous English teaching experience. Similar to Cambly, students call you if you are online and on standby status. You also have the ability to message students to ask them if they want to have lessons. The main thing to remember with sites like this is that you need a professional profile and introduction video so that you stand out from the rest.
Review: DayDay30 pays fairly well at around $20 on average. Some complaints are raised with management not being that accessible when there are problems. There is no time between lessons either. The positive that many teachers are looking for is having a full schedule. You will be teaching Chinese children during the typical peak hours of 7-10pm Beijing time. They are looking for native teachers with a US accent. The peak hours are 6AM to 9AM EST Monday through Friday with each lesson being 30 minutes long.
Review: Seems the company has shutdown and unable to find its website. They are looking for Native English speakers from USA and Canada with British or American accents. Their main preference is from the USA or Canadian citizens. You will need to teach on the weekends and they expect that you have a bachelor’s degree […]
Review: Western Wise does not state as to how often they hire teachers. They only hire native English speakers with a North American accent. They teach Chinese kids from 5 – 14 years old. You must be able to work from 5 am – 8 am (US Central Standard Time) or on the weekends. They required teachers to have either a Bachelor of English Education, TEFL/CELTA certificate or prior teaching experience of at least 3 years. The salary is ranging from $15 – $22 per hour.

Review: Synergy Global Recruitment “Dedicated campaign marketing ensures a positive lead-base and excellent turn around time.” Recruitment At Your Fingertips Apart from employing only the best candidates in our Synergy Centers, we also recruit, screen, and train consultants for other ESL campaigns for various platforms. Dedicated campaign […]
Review: Ile-School website has no English translation. It is not clear as to how often they hire new teachers. It is hard to get more information about them.
Review: US class has group lessons for Chinese children aged from 5-12 years old. They do hire both native and non-native teachers but with non-native teachers, you should have a neutral US accent. They have a fairly high payment per hour of $20-30.
Dialect runs the app called Hop-On-Chat. Just to clear up any confusion! This company is similar to Cambly where you are able to wait for calls from students that are online. You pick up these calls on at a moments notice and talk about the subject they have chosen. There is no need to prepare for the lesson and no report to write up after it as well. You do not need a degree but you should have a TEFL, CELTA, TESOL or another type of certification. You can teach from any location around the world and in terms of bandwidth requirements, they will test that during the interview. Their app runs in Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. There is no minimum amount of hours required per month and they hire non-natives.
