This current English Teacher vacancy is for Saturdays and/or Mondays with a possibility of extending to other weekdays’ evenings.

- Are you a fully QUALIFIED English teacher with experience of teaching up to GCSE level or A Level?
- Do you have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience?
- At Kip McGrath Bicester, we are seeking a qualified English teacher to deliver effective after school tuition up to and including GCSE level language and literature.
- Planning and teaching personalised lessons to groups of 2-5 students for 80-minute sessions.
- Providing constructive feedback to students and parents/carers.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Take responsibility for the student curriculum plans
- Be professionally dressed and presented
- Plan all work for the next session
- Arrive at the Centre at least 15 minutes prior to session start time to prepare work area
A session is defined as including the following:
- preparation
- setting up the room and materials
- tuition of pupils in a lesson format lasting 80 minutes
- ensuring the curriculum is covered and concepts taught
- marking all work, including homework and setting new homework (This should all be achieved during the session)
- Teach in a fully resourced, modern, welcoming and bright education centre.

- Be qualified to teach English up to GCSE level.
