Review: New Vision Learning Services pays $14-$22 per hour and teaches Chinese children. The class length is based on the number of students in the class. For a class with 2 students, the class will be 45 minutes in length. A class with 3-4 students will be 1 hour in length. The students range from low to high level. The working time is during the typical peak times for teaching Chinese children. It might take you a long time from when you are first hired to when you begin teaching. This is due to the staff being a little disorganized and slow, but they will eventually get back to you.

They asked me about degree and certificate but not sure if it is required
3. I think native only but I did train with someone who was from Britain so it doesn’t seem to be only American accents
4. yes, I teach from Spain and she mentioned other teachers that live and teach in Spain as well.
5&6 – never asked me about that
7. Peak seems to be 17-2130.
8. I do not think there is a min amount of hours per week/month. I only do with them 5 hours a week.
9. Pay is about 20$ per hour. They paid me through pay pal.
10. Kids – group classes. I have had 2 or 3 students in each class. I have low-level English speakers and also very high-level students.
They email you the schedule every week… it is not a schedule online that you get to open slots. In the beginning, it was stressful because they would email me new classes on Sunday night for the upcoming week and many times, I already had other commitments. But she was very lenient about delaying the start times to the following week. They also email me the lessons few weeks for the upcoming lessons. Communication can sometimes be slow but for the most part, I haven’t had too many problems. They have been pretty lenient about me taking time off for holidays or doctor’s appointments.
From our first conversation to my first class, it was at least 2 months though. I had nearly given up on them and that’s why I only teach a few classes with them a week because I also started with another company.
The only bad part is that there is not a strong support staff. If you need an answer very quickly, it won’t happen. I usually get a response in about an hour’s time though so it really isn’t that bad.
