Online ESL Teacher for Tutoring Lab
Summary(Review): Review: Tutoring (former Tutoring Lab) is the same as TutoringGo.com. They maintain similar websites. This is a newer company that is similar to Cambly but is focused on students from Korea. Students range in various ages from elementary all the way up to adults in their 60s. They provide the materials for you and what they call Topic Cards. You should be 22 years or older. They are also looking for over two years of teaching experience. For their global tutors, they are only taking teachers from the Philippines. For native English teachers there looking for tutors from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. You either need to have a degree or be currently enrolled in your degree. There is no requirement for having a TEFL or other certification but you need to have previous English teaching experience. Similar to Cambly, students call you if you are online and on standby status. You also have the ability to message students to ask them if they want to have lessons. The main thing to remember with sites like this is that you need a professional profile and introduction video so that you stand out from the rest.

Teacher Reviews
Read the post here.
Dear everyone,
I would like to introduce you to an online English school you probably have not heard about yet. I have been working for them since last year and referred many people several of whom have passed and became teachers on this lovely platform.
This is a South Korean company called Tutoring and, as far as I have noticed, it’s becoming more and more popular as the time goes by.
OVERVIEW&REVIEW:
Using the platform itself is very simple. You set yourself online whenever you are able to teach OR open time slots in the Schedule tab, it is totally up to you.
One thing most of you are probably interested in is whether there are enough students. Don’t worry, in peak time you get calls every couple of minutes and they can last from 10-40 minutes which you and the student agree upon during the class.
Your only job here is to TALK to your students and follow some topic cards which are super simple to use. There is a huge variety of different topics and it’s really never boring to do it.
SALARY:
-$11,50 in non-peak time. $14 in peak time (7pm-12am Korean time)
-Paid every 10 days to your PayPal account (always on time or even earlier, I love it <3)
(earnings from 1.-10. of the month are paid to you by the 20th of the month, from the 10.-20. are paid on the 30th and so on)
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
Native speakers are most welcome, of course, but I think that even fluent English speakers from all over the world can apply. They need a teacher who is friendly and can teach Korean people proper English, that’s all.
For more details, see the “Apply process” photo I have attached.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Having worked for them for over a year, I can say that they are a very nice and easy way to earn money stress-free. Of course, they are not one of the highest paying companies online, but for the amount of effort you have to put into it, trust me, you can consider yourself overpaid. 😀 Money is always there on time, students are lovely and I really enjoy working for them.
HOW TO APPLY:
Visit the following link http://en.tutoringlab.net/apply and kindly in the “How did you hear about us?” mention “Referred by teacher Hannah”
Thank you all and happy teaching! ^_^
The salary there which is 14 dollars during peak hours. Is it USD?
I was trying to apply but there’s an error on the website.
