🦓 Earn up to $26/hour ($16-26/hr on average) working remotely with Zebra English! In order to work for Zebra English, you must be a teacher from the US or Canada. You must also have a certificate and have a bachelor’s degree or above. In terms of experience, you must have at least one year’s experience as well. You will be teaching during peak Chinese hours from 6 to 9 pm Beijing time and on the weekends between 9 am to 10 pm. You get to choose your own hours. All lessons are one-on-one. You must also be able to legally work in the US or Canada. Online ESL Teacher Job Description
Teach Chinese students ages 3-8, online 1-1 practice Provide English immersive classes for 25 minutes in length Maintain good physical appearance Work using a computer in an online classroom Provide helpful student feedback reports Lead students through successful course completion and attainment of learning outcomes You will be responsible for guiding regularly attending students through customized interactive online classes. During this time you will be helping students to review and to master course content previously learnt from our mobile application.
- CURRICULUM: Developed in Beijing by an international team, our curriculum originates from application software which teaches English using live actors that team-up with Zack our animated Zebra to deliver course material along various story lines. Our AI assists students in reviewing the materials in a systematic way before they attend their classes with our Online English Teachers.
- TIME AND LOCATION: Teachers can work from any location with computer and internet access. The following are the most requested time periods (Beijing time): Monday-Friday 6- 10pm, and Saturday-Sunday 9am–10pm. You can choose your availability.

How long is each class?
Each time slot is 30 minutes, while each class needs to be 25 minutes of active teaching. Several minutes have been given to possible tech issues and student late.
ZENRA ENGLISH teaching hours are from 5 pm-8.30 pm (Beijing Time) on weekdays and 8.30 am-8.30 pm on weekends. It’s highly suggested that teachers open their time slots in Peak time and Peak Peak Time to get more bookings. The spaces with one flame are Peak time slots. The spaces with two flames are Peak Peak time slots.

- Earn $60 by opening at least 20 Peak Peak Time and 20 Peak Time slots within 28 days after signing the first contract with us between April 1 to April 30, 2021.
- Earn $20 by opening at least 10 Peak Peak Time and 10 Peak Time slots within 28 days after signing the first contract with us between April 1 to April 30, 2021.
- Open these time slots for at least 48 hours before each class start time without closing until they are either booked or expired.
- If the time slot is booked, the class finish type should be As Scheduled, Student
- No Show, Student IT Problem, or System Problem, otherwise this time slot is considered invalid.
- Teacher No Show will disqualify you from receiving the New Teacher Incentives.
