Abroad ESL Teacher Job Description
The KG Group is looking for energetic, and dynamic Teachers to teach our exciting Summer Camps. Contracts available for the following positions:
Summer
- Communication Arts – experience teaching English Language
- Early Learners – experience teaching Early Childhood/Pre-Primary Education
- Performing Arts – experience teaching Dance, Musical Theatre, or Speech & Drama
- Visual Arts – experience teaching Art
Requirements:
- • Excellent command of spoken and written English
- • Relevant qualifications and experience teaching/working with children
- • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- • Highly organised and able to work independently and in a team
- • Work well under pressure with the ability to face challenges
- • Must have a HKID or hold a valid employment/dependant visa
• Period: 8 July – 30 August 2019 (duration and starting date are flexible but must
commit to working full weeks)
• Work hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm and/or Saturday, 9am–5pm

KG Group Internship Programme
The Internship Programme provides high school/university students with the experience of working in a dynamic business environment with various disciplines including marketing, teaching, administration, customer service, event planning, and production management. The company will support you to develop new skills and broaden your exposure, which will enable you to better prepare for the future transition from study to work, and understand your future career interests.
Programme scope
Interns will assist in one or more of the following areas:
Marketing
- Market research
- Video and photo shooting and editing
- Online marketing and social media
- Capturing and analysing social media metrics
- Marketing administration
Teaching
- Supervising students in Early Learners, Performing Arts, Communication Arts, and Visual Arts classes
- Preparing lesson materials
- Developing learning activities and adapting appropriate resources
- Teaching outreach programmes
Administration and Customer Service
- General administrative tasks
- Processing mail, archiving documents, storage management, and data entry
- VIP membership and other schemes
- General customer enquiries
Productions
- Ticket allocation
- Costume and props distribution
- Monitoring students backstage
- Preparing props, costumes, set pieces, light, and sound equipment
- Crowd control and stage management
Event Management
- Coordinating and facilitating birthday parties
- Planning external events
- Handling events and exam administration tasks
- Organising inventory
Requirements
- Permanent resident or valid visa/HKID to work in Hong Kong SAR
- Good communication skills, high proficiency in written and spoken English (Cantonese and Mandarin skills an advantage)
- Strong can-do and hands-on attitude, positive, and a dedicated team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Hardworking, flexible, commited, reliable, and self-motivated
Internship periods

Mentorship
The internship programme will allow you to gain training experience across one or more different departments of the KG Group. You will be assigned to a mentor to supervise and provide you with regular performance feedback throughout the programme.
Certification
You will receive a certificate of completion, constructive review, and training allowance of $6,800 after completing a minimum of 180 hours training. Outstanding interns will receive a reference letter from their mentor. The training schedule will depend on the company’s operational needs and participants’ availabiliity and will be arranged mutually.
