Abroad ESL Teacher Job Description
New International School of Japan seeks an innovative secondary science and math teacher. As a member of the secondary teaching team, the successful candidate will contribute to the teaching and learning of 12 – 18 year old students in a dual language (English & Japanese), multiage developmental, resource-based school environment.
New International School is accredited by CIS and MSA and uses Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence, drawing on its principles and practices in teaching and learning, to deliver a broad and meaningful education to its students. This post has great potential for professional development and creative teaching.
Position to begin from August 16, 2019, on a 12 month renewable contract. Interview in UK possible between June 26 and July 17 for candidates in the UK. Prefer candidates who can anticipate a stay of three years or more. The school has a small turnover of teachers.
