Teach ESL in Southeast Asia become a hot trend in the recent years. A place where you can lavish your weekends on the beach covered by endless white sand and crystal clear water.
Generally, teach English in Southeast Asia means you’ll likely to land in the one of these three countries, Thailand, Philippines, or Vietnam. However, Southeast Asia also include the countries like Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar (Burma), Malaysia, Laos, and few others. The requirements vary from country to country, but a Bachelor’s degree is often required. TEFL (120 hrs+), TESOL, or CELTA certificate is not always a strict requirement, but will definitely land you a job sooner and less hassle when dealing with the working VISA.
